About Acid Reflux (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease GERD)

Acid Reflux may refer to heartburn, in which acid from the stomach rises back up into the throat, causing a burning sensation in the chest, or to Gatstroesophageal Reflux Disease (acid reflux disease). The disease causes mucosal damage due to the erosion from regurgitated stomach acid.

It feels like a burning sensation in my throat all the way down to my stomach. It makes me uncomfortable. Sometimes just drinking water will start the symptoms.12/27/2011 at 01:35 PM
