Plaquenil 200 Mg Per Day

Plaquenil is known as "Hydroxychloroquine". Plaquenil is in a class of drugs called antimalarials. This means it is used to prevent and treat acute attacks of malaria caused by mosquito bites. Plaquenil is also used to treat certain auto-immune diseases such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. Plaquenil can reduce skin problems in lupus and prevent swelling/pain in arthritis. Plaquenil belongs to a class of medications known as disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs).
