About Lupus Like Syndrome

Lupus like syndrome is a condition that mimics the symptoms of systemic lupus erythematosus, or SLE, but isn't actually lupus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease, which is caused by a reaction by the immune system that damages the body. Lupus like syndrome may cause the same symptoms as lupus, but has a different cause. Symptoms of lupus like syndrome can include fatigue, joint pain and arthritis, and overall feeling of sickness. Lupus like syndrome may also cause a skin rash and skin sensitivity like lupus. The rash typically forms on the face but may spread all over the body, and is very sensitive to sunlight.
