Nasonex

Nasonex is a brand-name medication that is used to decrease swelling of the passages in the nose. Nasonex, also known by the generic name mometasone nasal inhalation, is a liquid mist medication that is sprayed into the nose. Nasonex can help manage symptoms of allergies, including itching in the nose, runny nose, and sneezing. Nasonex can help control seasonal allergies, including hay fever, and year-round allergies. Nasonex is a topical steroid medication that helps control inflammation caused by allergies. Nasonex is typically taken only once per day, and is sprayed once into each nostril and breathed in. Nasonex should typically be taken several weeks before allergy season starts to help prevent seasonal allergy symptoms.
