About Sjögrens Syndrome (Sjogrens)

Sj??gren's syndrome is a chronic autoimmune disease in which people's white blood cells attack the tear and saliva glands. Patients will experience outer dryness in usually moist areas of the body, such as the mouth, eyes and vagina, as the moisture-producing glands are being destroyed. Sj??gren's syndrome also attacks glands that produce bodily secretions, and therefore may affect a number of internal organs.
