Acid Reflux

Acid reflux may refer to heartburn, in which acid from the stomach rises back up into the throat, causing a burning sensation in the chest. It may also refer to Gatstroesophageal Reflux Disease (acid reflux disease). The disease causes mucosal damage due to the erosion from regurgitated stomach acid.
