Therapy can also help people function better in daily life and can help repair problems in relationships. Types of therapy include cognitive behavioral therapy, psychotherapy ("talk" therapy), physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and more. Therapy helps the mind and body learn new ways to cope with mental or physical impairments or conditions.
