About Anemia; Unspecified

Unspecified anemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough healthy red blood cells with no underlying cause. If red blood cells are also deficient in hemoglobin then your body is not getting enough oxygen. This is because healthy red blood cells are the transporters that carry oxygen to your body's organs and tissues. This lack of oxygen does not allow the body to function properly and causes the main symptom of unspecified anemia- fatigue. Other possible symptoms of unspecified anemia can include chest pain, dizziness, headaches, problems concentrating, and shortness of breath. Unspecified anemia could be caused by abnormal destruction of red blood cells, losing blood, or insufficient red blood cell production.
