Treatment: NovoRapid

NovoRapid is a type of insulin used to treat diabetes. Also known by its generic name, insulin aspart, it is sold in the United States under the brand name NovoLog. NovoRapid is only available under that brand name outside of the United States. NovoRapid is an injectable, synthetic, fast-acting insulin that helps people with either type 1 or type 2 diabetes control blood sugar levels by providing them with insulin that their bodies can’t produce. NovoRapid assists in transporting sugar out of the blood and into cells and tissues as energy. It also helps stabilize blood sugar levels by inhibiting sugar production by the liver.
